Women of St. Andrew's
All of the women members of St. Andrew’s Episcopal Church are members of the Women of St. Andrew’s.
The structure of the organization is loosely fashioned on the former Episcopal Church Women (ECW). Instead of monthly meetings we now have two open meetings a year. Everyone is welcome. There are no by-laws and no dues.
Basically we have three to four events a year. The main activity is maintaining and supporting the Church Mouse (St. Andrew’s gift shop). It is from the Church Mouse we receive our income. Each year we use this income for outreach in the community and in-reach to aid projects in the parish. We sponsor a women’s retreat at Camp Chanco, a spring tea and usually a bus trip. We hope every woman will participate in one or all of these events.
Because women enjoy getting to know each other and have fun while working on projects we feel it is important to have a women’s group.
