Lay Readers
The ministry of Lay Reader at St. Andrew’s includes both reading and the administration of the chalice. This is a vital ministry of assistance to the service celebrants and includes any number of duties to free the priest(s) of administrative concerns. The Rector conducts separate sessions for Lay Readers that address the liturgy and other aspects of this ministry.
