The music program at St. Andrew's is under the direction of Dr. James Kosnik. In addition to his position at St. Andrew's, Dr. Kosnik is a Professor of Music at Old Dominion University.
Volunteers are encouraged to participate in the Senior Choir, as the choir can always use additional voices, especially individuals who enjoy singing and who will make a commitment to a weekly choir rehearsal on Thursday evenings from 7:30 - 9:00 p.m. The Senior Choir participates at the 10:15 a.m. service on Sundays.
The Junior and Youth Choirs are under the direction of Richard Rigg, a music teacher, member of the Senior Choir, and an accomplished harpist. Junior Choir includes children from first through fourth grades. The Youth Choir is for students in fifth grade and above.
The Youth Orchestra, also under the direction of Richard Rigg, is open for all ages/grades playing stringed instruments. This group performs intermittently throughout the year and at some special functions.
